Mobile applications, otherwise known as “apps,” are similar to websites, but they are designed to be used on small screens and mobile devices. Using a mobile app means that you won’t have to move the screen around or zoom-in/out in order to get to what you need.

There are many free apps for you to try in the KaiStore!

Pro Tip:  If you notice a website you use often, such as Google, offers a free app – download it! It makes navigation much easier.

Examples:

  • Facebook – A social networking site (you’ll learn more about those later) that allows you to connect with people all over the world, share photos and videos, and follow celebrities and other public figures.
  • WhatsApp – An app that allows you to send messages and make phone calls internationally.
  • YouTube – An online video-hosting service, where you can watch videos to learn skills or find entertainment. You can also make your own videos and share them for others to watch online.
  • Life – An app that provides information about a variety of topics, like health, education, agriculture, information for women & girls, finance, and digital skills.
