Sadly, just like real life, bullies exist online. They use the internet to say mean things or do things to make a person feel bad about themselves.
If you’re a victim of cyberbullying, the best thing you can do is block and report the attackers, and talk to a trusted adult about the issue. Remember, the bullies’ cruel words are not a reflection of who you are. They’re just looking for negative attention.
If you’re tempted to say something mean online, think twice. Even if it’s targeted at a celebrity or someone you think will never read it, always behave with kindness and empathy.
Never share pictures, videos, or information about others that you know will hurt or embarrass them.
Remember, the things we do online have consequences in the real world.
